Prompts From WC: Phsycological Breakdowns

This one was rather fun! It's my speed writing prompt from writer's club. I only had ten minutes to write this. Alot of the people said i should consider turning it into a prolouge and doing more with it but in all honestly i'm not sure what to do.

She was alive. Or maybe she was dead. it had happened so fast. Her hat! Where was her hat?! On the other side of the street? That's right, that bully had gotten her to go after him then... she forced her eyes open to examine her lace in the world.

What she saw, she would never be able to forget in her extremely short life... She didn't scream. She didn't move. She was in complete shock. The smell of burning flesh reacher her nose and she finally snapped. She fell to her knees and began coughing and sobbing. oh god, that SMELL! Blood splattered the speckled concrete street in front of her.

All around her... she was right in the middle of it. How could cars get that deformed? A rather large crowd had gathered around her, pointing and talking amongst themselves, looking at the sobbing girl in the middle of all the death. Death she had caused! By now, sirens could be heard in the distance, pulling the girl back to the grisly scene in front of her.

It was all a blur... she couldn't nuderstand a thing of what was going on. She only saw several figures running toward her. The people she had killed! She stood up and screamed her appologies, backing away from the ghosts of the people come back to drag her down with them. She looked around frantically for an escape, an opening. THERE! She bolted towards a group of bystandars who all gasped and ran away from the deranged girl.

She ran as fast as she could. She needed to get away. Wait, what was this? Water? Her steps didn't faulter as she began to wade into the fast running liquid. Then.....

Black. All she could see was black. In an instant she had been robbed of her sight. She opened her mouth to scream and gagged. NO! They had gotten her! She was going to die! She couldn't breathe, every attempt only seemed to push her closer to the edge of the cliff.

She opened her eyes again to find she could see once again. She found herself in the middle of a large river. She coughed and spun around, trying frantically to swim to the shore.

But it was no use; the current swept her away like a ragdoll, small whirlpools tugging her under then spitting her out. She really was going to die. She knew she hadn't survived it...

OMG. THAT WAS LIKE ALMOST EXACTLY WHAT I HAD IN MIND ALMOST.

Found by a male, shy yes, but no secret mission... and she sorta falls in love with him... but love as a family because they adopt her :/
