I've been thinking about getting a cintiq, even though they're super expensive. eoe. I think my drawings would be better if I got a cintiq, because it'll be like drawing on paper but with digital short cuts. But I can't really know that for sure.
Should I stick with my baby bamboo or would a cintiq be worth enough to get one?

Would a cintiq really be worth it?

I've worked with both, the cheap models and the professional ones.
Professional ones are actually super amazing, but the quality or the cheap ones isn't too good in my opinion.
Line stuttering is very common and getting it trk seamlessly was a pain in the ass.
And it won't really be like drawing on paper, it takes time to get used to it, like you would with any other tablet.
IMO, stick with your tablet and as an alternative, scan original media.
Last night I had a vision of a disco in the sky, I saw angels and saints dancing together.
I remembered the thump of the bass and the pump of the kick, because my heart was almost out my body and I felt free, I felt joy,
I felt things I never thought I'd feel before. It was deep it was soulful it was techno it was disco,
a kaleidoscope of sounds it was truly underground it was an essential mix in the cloud where we could dance and sing out loud
it was New York Ibiza and Miami all wrapped up into one. There were speakers the size of skyscrapers and the stars they flickered like strobes,
and everybody loved everybody else, a tribal beast of rhythm a ceremony of sound, the gathering of the spirits that would lift us off the ground,
my vision was so clear, but it was still hazy in my mind, I must have went to house heaven, because nothing's that divine...

I'd get a cintiq if I had the money, it's easier to be able to look where your hand is, it's way more precise.

No prob!
A cheaper alternative(sort of) to the Cintiq would be the Inkling.
I sketch my work on paper with it and clean the lines afterwards.
The only downside to it is the size of the area you're able to draw on and the quality of the lines.
It does the trick tho and personally, I like it

I'd say if you're a professional artist, get a cintiq. It'll work wonders and save you more time drawing.
If you draw as a hobby then stick with the bamboo / scanner. It's cheaper orz
I, myself, am saving up for one but since I'm still in college and I don't work, it might take me a while to get one.
