Yeah, definitely. I've played with one, but never had one long enough to actually do my own live production with.
And as far as producing music goes, it's a hellll of a lot easier than manually clipping, cutting, splicing, adjusting, quantizing, every single sound in your track when you can do that, make your own sounds, and record yourself playing it live the way you hear it instead of losing that focus halfway through
