I know this is a huge, modern cultural thing. Just curious who here is into it.
I've never seen the show myself, so I don't really participate in any of the pro-MLP or anti-MLP nonsense. But I do love laughing at the crays.

I'm pretty much against it. People were like "Just watch some episodes!" so I watched like five, and it just seemed like a little girl's show to me. I mean, it's target audience is like 7-12 year-old girls.

I've never watched it, but I'm not gonna belittle anyone who does. It is definitely designed for tween girls, but I've heard the concepts the show discusses are more adult. I wouldn't know, but just what I've heard. I imagine it is something along the lines of Shrek, which even though it's a children's series of movies, it is famous for being enjoyed by parents as well with subtle adult humor.

It's just hard to look at some teen boy or adult man playing with ponies

I like it. Then again, I have a soon-to-be-2-year old son who loves it. Any break I can get from Yo Gabba Gabba! and The Fresh Beat Band is a break I can get behind. It's fun, it's cute, I like the colour palette, and there is nothing cooler than rocking out with a toddler to a bubbly theme song about friendship and magic and doing awesome things.
I do not, at all, associate myself with the creepy people who are in to it, in any way, shape, or form.

Yo Gabba Gabba is cute, but Netflix only has 39 episodes of it and spontaneously removed what happens to be my son's favourite episode ("New Friends" with Jack Black.) I just need new episodes. Oh god. Just a few more episodes. The nerd/geek/fandom references are good for me. ...The Fresh Beat Band can, however, screw right off.
He likes Dora a lot (a lot, a lot.) He hasn't tried saying any Spanish words yet.
Most children's shows are ridiculous. :/ Have you seen the new Mickey Mouse Clubhouse? It is so terrible.
