I kinda want to fiddle around/make music with a DAW
Any suggestions? Preferably ones that have "preloaded sounds"
I've been kinda messing around on FL studio, and it's actually pretty fun (except for the fact that you can't save with the demo).

What's a DAW? -not up to date in the terms-
For FL Studio though, you could always torrent it. That's what I did, and I love it! It has a lot of pre-installed sounds but not too many, but it's still great. If you're going to start trying to make stuff though, I suggest downloading sample packs so you can have more sounds, I have like 10GB of samples for different kinds of music right now. Everything from Hip Hop to House to Hardstyle to Dubstep haha. I use FL Studio as my main program, but have been meaning to learn one of the more advanced programs that has a higher learning curve.

I use Ableton Live(torrent/crack). It has a good number of sounds that you can throw onto midi tracks and just go.
Fl Studio is also good from what I remember of it. I actually have it too but I never got very good with it.
A sound library is ultimately unavoidable if you want to really be able to do any thing.

I've been thinking about just torrenting FL studio, but I don't really want to endanger my relatively-new laptop xD

I use Ableton 8 Live, and Massive.
But another great one, if you really want a good interactive-experience and a more real-feeling program, get Reason.
I got my hands on it and I can't stop using it.
Reason is like Massive, it's a side-program you make music/synths/sounds with.
It gives you drumpads, synthesizers, wavemakers, VOX alteration, Gates, etc.
But if you want two sounds to really run together, you can click "Tab" and it'll show you the back of all the synthesizers and you do the wiring and everything yourself.

When I'm using FL studio, why does the "Tenor Sax" and "Strings" play on forever?

It's really easy, actually.
You run each sound through a channel. Each channel has an Input/Output (Easily put, the Red and White wires next to the Yellow one when plugging a game console into the TV)
