I figured seeming I've been relatively active over the last few days and Google was saying that the Art section was getting a bit dry I thought I'd post my current project up and see what you think.
I'm working on a new portfolio to showcase my work online and I think it's turning out pretty good so far. Due to the fact that I will be changing and tweaking it it would be redundant for me to put up an image so I apologies but here is the link, tell me what you think. The more detail the better.
Note: So far the only presentable page is the homepage, most of the links link straight back to the homepage but there are a few about that lead to complete messes of css so bare that in mind.
Portfolio | Just another WordPress site
Another note: A version of the homepage before I added a wordpress engine to the back of it can be found at the main directory of the url for those of you that may be curious, once I'm happy with the wordpress version I will move it to the main directory instead.
Last note, I promise: As it stands the site is optimised for best use with firefox, chrome has some letter spacing issues and most of the CSS3 stuff like text shadows and gradients do not work in internet explorer. I imagine most of you are using firefox or chrome but I thought I'd let you know.

The only thing you should change is probably make the "Hello and welcome to my online portfolio, don't be shy. Feel free to take a look around." a bit darker, since some people might have a hard time reading it or even seeing it.

It's a very nice portfolio! Maybe add some more clear images? But I love the design itself and the colour. I need to make an online portfolio at some point... D:

You don't understand the pain I've gone though to get that perfect lmao, that and the navagation, I wanted to keep them the same colour but that bit is on a gradient making it harder to read but point noted, I'll darken it a tad.

000webhost is a good place to start, completely free and has pretty much all the features of a costing service.

How much would it cost for you to do a custom simple site?

I normally charge £100 or higher depending on how much work I have to put in.

It's already been made darker now.
