With the single 'Ballad of Mona Lisa' promising a return to a style more similar to pre-Pretty. Odd, this is album is heavily anticipated by many fans, and the single has received generally good reviews.
However, the second track, 'Let's Kill Tonight', kicks off with a drum machine, and slightly off-putting vocals, leading into an even more electronically influenced chorus.
This more electronic-heavy style continues throughout the track, leaving only the song 'Always' sticking out to me.
Overall the album is a good listen, but it leaves me missing the oddly comforting insanity of the previous.
