I'd like to know all of your thoughts on My Chemical Romance. I liked their old albums. But their new one is very satisfying. I personally enjoy it more than any of their previous albums. My favorites are Sing and Na Na Na.

Get this shit out of here now.
They are terrible, just like all the other bullshit mainstream crap they represent.
Emo drivel shit that is about nothing, says nothing, and means nothing. They have the audacity to claim influence from Pink Floyd, Queen, Nirviana, and other highly political bands. You used to have to be about something, to say something, to put yourself into it, and now all you have to do is have bad hair and whine like a bitch.

Personally I like their music.
I'm able to listen to any kind of music and find something good about it, or something that I like.
And to be perfectly honest, the band's earlier music did mean something, and their current songs do as well.
The Ghost of You, deals with the fears of loss.
Helena was a song written for Gerard's late grandmother.
Danger Days is based on Gerard's comic book, most characters within the comic book are based on family, friends, and enemies.
Just to name a few ;]
"Basically, it’s never been accurate to describe us. Emo bands were being booked while we were touring with Christian metal bands because no one would book us on tours. I think emo is F–ing garbage, it’s bulls–. I think there’s bands that unfortunately we get lumped in with those that are considered emo and by default that starts to make us "emo"." ~ Gerard Way
Yes, they do have the "audacity" to claim inspiration from them, they liked their music, and they were inspired by it.
I do think that "Pink Floyd, Queen, Nirviana, and other highly political bands" would be honored.
It's all a matter of opinion and fact.
And my opinion is that they are fantastic, and they belong where they are in the world today.
