Notifications Update. More on the Way

Its been a really long time since the last time there was an update to LG, and we are starting it off with something easy.

The first update that has been added to the site is a new notification system. It will look familiar to anyone that has a Facebook or Google+ account. Basically anytime someone quotes you in a thread, quotes a post of yours or posts in one of your threads, you will get a little notification. Keep in mind its not perfect yet, but Thomas and the rest of the staff are currently tweaking it to make it better.

The next updates that will be coming in are pretty varied. Keep your eyes open for a new version of the the Thanking System, possibly a new market, and a whole different variety of games that millions of people play and can bring some more activity to LG.

Giving the new version of CometChat a try. Hopefully they fixed the issue with server resource spikes. So now messages own't vanish when a user logs off.

I'm also playing around with the postbit css, trying to make it cleaner.

I've also tweeked the guest ads and added an advertisement banner for users. If you don't like having an ad you can collapse it and you'll never see it again. This is so I can start earning money for game giveaways, game servers, etc.

Mind locking skinchoices to user accounts instead of via cookie? Kind of a pain in the ass having to reset it every time i log back in or log into a new location.
