We have WAY too many forums in the Gaming section. Seriously, there's way too many. We have at least five we could remove because they're dead, we also have a few more that have under like fifty topics, so they could probably be removed too if we needed to.

And this is why we can't have nice things (Remove forums)

Hey, I already got rid of two or three. I don't think Maplestory was ever open, so I'll give it a trial run before deleting it. Neopets also had posting disabled, but it includes the Mystery Pic thing, which I think we can use to draw traffic. If it doesn't pick up, we can scrap it too. Before I can remove Skyrim, I need to know it doesn't have heavy SEO impact. That's the only reason it's still here. LoL also might be revivable through e-economics, but IDK enough about it to know. We'll find out.

Yeah, the mystery pic thing seemed like a great idea when Arti made it, but it doesn't seem to have generated much traffic. As for SEO, can't we just strategically place those words somewhere else? Like having Gaming Discussion's description be "Gaming Discussion, a forum where you can discuss any games, like Maplestory, World of Warcraft, Skyrim, Runescape, Diablo III, and League of Legends."

I think he mentioned that people still use Mystery Pic. I'll find out. If so, it still has demand, and it can be used to advertise to the Neopets community.
SEO is more than having the words. It's about having the links. Moving the topics changes their links, which means that instead of finding those topics when Google checks LG, it will find errors. It will decide LG's links aren't reliable and thus not want to link to LG. There's a lot that goes into SEO. If a forum is moved in mass, server-side redirects need to be hand-made to forward the old links to the new one.

I just checked mystery pic and it indeed has some activity, but the comment system is no part of the forum, that's why it doesn't show up.

Got the stats on mystery pic today. It definitely stays, so we can use it to bring in new members.
