I think there should be a 18 and up junkyard. Sort of like 2007 LG had.

there basically is, its called Adult Discussion, true not many stupid things are posted there like the 18 and up JY there once was. i dont think it would work becuase there is no real way to prevent people that are under age from getting into it, so anyting that would, not could would be posted wouldnt be allowed to. so its just like the JY normally is.
i cant show support for it because its just trouble on the brink, too much can go wrong unless it is heavily moderated.Voted Hottest Male Member

Well, in the Adult Discussion you cannot spam. I want there to be a place were you can spam and post some stuff that is not to 18 and under appropriate. The 18 and older thing could just be a warning.
And if the answer is no to this suggestion, can we post bad stuff like images in the junkyard except name is something like "Whatever [18 and older]"?

it might work if it were moderated heavily or a mod was put on the site to limit ability to view it until a certain age has been reached and the age is locked once it is entered upon registration, because the whole issue can be circumvented with the click of a few keys.
and posting something as [18 and older] cant really work since it is still accessable to minors and would violate the terms of service with most hosts. anything that is considered mature must be kept from those underage, so it would only work if its moderated. theres very little loop-holage with this subject.Last edited by Souleater; 02 Dec. 2009 at 01:07am.

But see, Heres my view on this, and everyones entitled to there own opinion. Anyways, If its Logical Gamers, why need a 18+ section? Thats what porn sites and whatever else are for right?
The main focus should be The Gaia Section, and Trades and stuff.
I dont think the section we have now Is really needed, But why spam LG with porn? ):
Plus, I thought it was aganist the hosts rules.Google was here

It would be to post something inappropriate you see everyone once and a while, because you have been dieing to show Lg people.

thats one reason i cant condone it, you dont want some pics of some 16 year old naked running around on this site, and was able to do it just because they said they were 18 or older.
that would get Alex arrested and LG shutdown and put under investigation. thats something no one wants.Voted Hottest Male Member

I still think the Adult Discussion forum for have 18+ limits on it. Even if people lie just to gain access to it, it will prevent any legal trouble (if someone's profile says 16, and we have open access to pornography in that board, hooray cops @ Arti's house) and allow expansion of discussion. As is, pictures and links are extremely limited to prevent minors from obtaining them.
So, to reierate,
A 18+ requirement would A) prevent most teens from accessing that area, B) expand content discussable in that area, and C) prevent legal action against LG for content in that area.
I can't fathom why the Hell a block isn't already in place.
Most importantly, for the legal reasons. If someone lies about their age to get it, so fucking what? It's none of LG's business, unless LG can prove their age otherwise. If someone openly admits that they're a minor and has access to that area, then that is a very huge problem for LG.
Why d you think most porn sites say "You have to be 18. Enter / Exit." Do you think it prevents minors? Hell no. But it sure as Hell keeps the cops off their asses.

I'm fourteen, but i'll probably post in that forum even if its for 18 and 18+
And i doubt that it would only be me doing that :/

Enjoy your ban if you get caught. It's reasons like this that it needs the requirement. People underage are viewing it now, so the discussion is limited (thusly making the forum hardly different from General Discussion).
