To decrease spam. There really is no need for post counts in there anyway. It's not exactly a discussion. You don't need to influence people to post there by 'rewarding' them with post counts. Their reward is that they get their account sold or buy an account that they want, so there is still incentive to post there. So I see no reason post counts should be enabled. It's just attracting spam out the ass. For example, the "selling rare name topic," where 9 million people posted asking for a PM of the name. Including someone with 2 posts and 500 LGG, when the account was stated as being sold for 10k LGG minimum.
So, decrease spam, disable posts in trading, lose no activity.
