Free speech is what fucks america over.. I wish there was a bureau that would just make people who no one wants to hear SHUT UP. Like all the people who complain about every little fucking thing. Xtians who feel offended at mosques, Atheists who feel offended at public religion memorials are both equally annoying, except the Atheists are normally more pretentious
I love free speech, but I think too many people use it as a defense against their being an asshole. As if legal freedom exonerates you of social judgment. Say what you want, but don't be a dick about it.
Free speech is an important part of democracy and our system of government. The fact that that and most freedoms get expanded upon and the boundaries pushed for no other reason than the pursuit of freedom for the sake of it that free speech or any right/freedom that these right/freedoms transform into something ugly and perpetuate a destructive force in our society.
