True or False? - New Google Phone.
Well, a mutual friend told me Google was starting a new phone line (he said they haven't announced the name) but he says it's called "Google Candy" and gave me this picture of what the advertisement looked like. Google Candy, so what do you think? True or False. By the way, I think it's false. (The picture looks kinda poorly made) and I haven't seen or heard any discussion, so how would he know?

I never heard anything. I do know that they are releasing extremely fast internet soon, though.

I remember hearing that too, actually I heard it from my friend who is interning at Google. I'll send him an email and try to find out. They're making an OS and a bunch of other crap so I can't see why they wouldn't have phones as well.

They do. It's called the Android OS and the Nexus One.

Have you looked at the shit the Chrome and the OS are suppose to do?
Chrome can install itself in IE and then it looks and acts like IE but its Chrome. The OS is supposed to run within the browser and outside it. Google can record any thing you do within the OS which is also your browser.

All I know is that the OS is just a browser with a few added features. It's clearly only for netbooks and such, because it can't do much and needs an internet connection to work.

I know that you can run IE in Chrome with an addon, though.
