A New Forum

Sounds a little backwards but it probably would reduce stress the admins...

- So I would have it be a forum called "Things to Change..." or something.
- Make it so anyone can post...
- Then make it so Admins can read the posts or Make it so that you can only see your threads... (Admins would still need to be able to see all threads...)
- You get a huge bonus of, +0 on your PC (Post Count) and LG Gold (To prevent spam...)

Reasons :
- So then we can request name changes or whatever... (Something that doesn't necessarily belong in Suggestions...)
- We would get a faster response, seeing as there are multiple Admins...
- Admins won't be as annoyed because there inbox isn't full of requests...
- You could get impute from all three admins right there...

It's just a suggestion...

I guess it would work. Maybe as a subforum to suggestions.

Didnt that idea fail and plobby got pissed because of so many name requestt and him getting bothered all the time about it?

Well now he wouldn't be the only one taking requests, and he got pissed because his inbox kept filling back up...

At least with a forum you could put them off till you had spare time...

Besides, it wouldn't be hard to just add a subforum.

Easier than making a brand new forum at least...

This entire thing could be simplified to a "Name Change Requests" sticky in the Suggestions forum. Making a forum for name changes is a horrible idea.

but only problem i see in it is it filling up like there inbox messages or still taking as long as they do on other requests

OP is confusing me. Is he basically saying make the Suggestion section give no post count? Because that's what I'm reading as the new section he suggests is basically this section with another name..

Why would the members want to alter their names? Some guy high on crack once said that whatever name you made, you should stick to it until to the end.

Ok, let's say that this idea was approved. Once the members have been granted to request for a name change, THEY WILL abuse it; giving more stress to the people/admins who are able to change names. Next thing you know, members will be asking for a sex change.

There's a thread on name changing in JY, it costs 25k to change your name.

Or they could make a new account with the same name and get their old account banned, that works too.. :/
