"Your report has been delt with"
So, I've reported many threads, not recently because nothing is ever done, but I was wondering. When we report a thread, supposedly a PM gets sent to a mod or whatever. What I'm requesting is a response PM saying that your report has been declined(not worth dealing with), or dealt with... I mean, I'd like to know if it was declined and why instead of wondering why the hell that hasn't been closed or whatever...
i agree. i mean sometimes people just report cause they're being lame/childish, but most of the time there is a good reason for a report. especially from the higher up member, such as yourself. and there should be a notice/reason as to why its not being dealt with. of course i know there are a limited amount of mods. but theres not that many reports that have to be dealt with.
I agree, while I haven't reported anything myself yet, I would very much like to know that if/when I do decide to report a thread/post it has/has not been dealt with.
It makes sense to have this. Otherwise, no one will ever know if anything was done.
Sounds good to me. I've reported people too, and I always wonder if anything was done about it or if the admin/mod who checked was just too lazy to do anything at the moment. 'Cause if nothing is going to be done, I might as well not waste my time reporting.

Anyways, I've reported shit and it's never been taken care of, and I'm tired of nothing happening without an explanation... Report system is there for a reason, and it isn't being used correctly or is being simply ignored... If we need more help enforcing it or whatever, that isn't a difficult thing to do...

also when you report shit you wanna make sure they actually did read it or do something about it instead of sit there and watch them do the same shit and get reported even more

I think only serious reports should be delt with...Also theres alot of people starting report for stupid things that the site manager has no time to deal with such as:"He double posted in my thread" or "He/She is flaming me" Nobody has time to deal with crap like that...Only big stuff like scamming or using multiple accounts on the same IP...If you have proof of it...I think that this is a dumb idea...And i say No
Except that's why there are like 5 staff members or more who are capable of handling such reports.

Currently it's become Google and I's responsibility for the reports/multiple login section. Things have been on the busy side for the other staff.
Finally someone agrees that we need another higher power...I vote Google too because he's always on and lurking...we need someone like him to deal with problems...
Is this automated now, or is BooBearSh just doing it manually? I got a comment saying that my report was dealt with :p
