I just saw a user with 470+ posts today.
The sad thing is, he only have 200+ posts yesterday.
Warez section is being spammed atm, and expect more spam posts in the near future.

You see, I could post this many IF requested. These dumbasses are posting anything on any Warez site. I mean, if that's what Plobby wants, whatever, but seriously? Cluster fuck + abuse like hell.
remove the ost count. leaving it in will cause nothing but spam because of the act that some person requested the Warez. Its not like the warez from the original LG, its on the way to be abused terribly.
remove post count, or the cluster of fuckiness will continue.

To get into the old UG would need 450 posts + an approval.
Now, you only need 500 posts, which you can get by just abusing the warez section -.-
I agree with no post count. Limiting the posts allowed is stupid. Disabling post count will decrease warez, but it will actually decrease shit warez and increase good warez (at least, increase the ability to find them).
Also, add a Thanks system, disable LGG per post/thread, and only give them LGG per Thanks. Thus, incentive for posting is LGG (not post count), so people will still post, but nobody will spam because nobody is going to Thanks spam. They'll deliberately look for and post good warez.

I don't think this will get abused as long as there are no benefits or rewards or anything for "thanks". As long as they are just there for show. And only one thanks per thread per person.

Please stop posting just test and post warez to see if it even has post count anymore.
Stop mini-modding. Maybe if you read the topic, you'd notice it's about alternatives to post counts, not just whether or not post counts should be enabled.
Unless you made a bunch of accounts, got them all to 50 posts, then spammed thanks for your posts. But still, it wouldn't be to hard to control I think.
Except no one would bother doing that when they can just make a single post of a valid warez file(s) and get 900 thanks. 50 posts for one (and likely ban) or 1 post for a million. Ehhh, the decision is harddd.
Like I said, it's not much of a downside. The problem being we'd really need to hit home that people need to hit the thanks button. I know it's a big problem in a lot of Warez forums.
I like it I don't see what you guys mean people are spamming it. I think people deserve 1 post for a ware the only thing that I think would be spammed is music, only because each person at least has 300+ Songs.
