Enable the Blogging System.

vB has a built-in blogging system that I feel LG would benefit from. It seems that LG users have quite a bit to share, and sometimes it is nice to just have a simple place where only you can share what you want. Thanks for reading,

I agree with this. I think I suggested it in the times of old, and again with this recreation, but it was never done. I think it might be part of the user profile updates once the project is almost done.

I don't think Alex will add it to the project. His focus seems a lot less on the user-based scheme and a lot more on content display.

P.S. Isn't a bad thing, but he just seems a bit focused ;]

Yea I agree with that. He needs to look at it seriously, which he has since a wider level of user activity is a large part of the focus. Blogging is a good idea, and I think it would bring in a lot of users, however he needs to really put it into focus. Display is a good, but the user features hes adding might help make up for the lack of user things now.

I haven't check the project in a while, I might talk to him about some of my ideas. I want him to make me a programmer again (P.S. I'm Chris o.O)

I think it's a good idea but unless people start being mature and not flame everytime they get a chance, then yeah it would be cool.

There would have to be guidelines as far as the blogs go, like reinforcing the Shitter only rule, of flaming only in the shitter, etc., etc. Fact is, its a good idea, and could bring activity.

I for one, would fucking love the blogging system.
Lots of users have stuff to say, but don't have anywhere to say it, or don't know where to say it.
Post in GD, post gets lost in new threads or simply dies.
Post in JY, post goes completely off topic and the first post usually gets buried in spam.
This way, people could talk about things that would interest them and discuss it with other users that share the same interests. Lots of forums are basically dead, so bringing in a blogging system would be more users and in the end, have more happy users.
