I am seeing alot of threads where half the opinions are "Yes, I think __________ will happen" or "No, you are wrong" even though there is already a full discussion going on about that topic.
I think there should be a rule REQUIRING that you back up what you say in your posts. A yes or no does not help the person who created the topic at all.
My name is Syd, and I approve this message....
....Naw but seriously. People should. Just posting saying yes I agree noi don't, is like posting for a free post.
100 % yes. almost every discussion thread i start has this outcome.
If there is a rule against this, no one will respect or care that it's there...
Even Souleater would have to go through Hell to get this shit straightened. Nice idea and all but, won't work...
People should be doing this anyway. There shouldn't have to be a rule that tells people not to be assholes.
Safe spam is far too common a problem in any topic. Most people just don't have the brains to discuss anything in a meaningful fashion. Or, they're just wiseacres who repackage the little they know into other 'new-seeming' inputs. Anyway, post history takes care of the problem pretty much.
Though the 'I agree 100000000%' bit can get on anyone's nerves after a time. If the mods see that someone's trying to safe spam their way into the restricted sections, so be it.
This rule wouldn't really matter. Like BooBearSH said, no one would respect the rule. Second, why not just ignore the posts like that, I'm sure the admins already when considering a suggestion.
Yes I agree . . . ROFL.
I think those "Free post" guys are already being banned. Implementing this rule might be cool, but the point is, is it really needed? Cause anyways, such guys are gonna get banned in a few weeks or months. Then why care?
Yes.
You thought I forgot, xD
I say Yes because I can say yes, get a post count, leave and never really know what the topic was even about. ^^
If there was such rule, there should be a consequence for breaking the rule too right? If this is the case, a large number of people will be on "detention".
