Ze bump button.

Basically, a new button is available to either the topic creator, or can also be available to all users.

When you click the "bump" button, it automatically bumps the thread to the top of that forum listing. Although there is a LG fee, saying 500 or a predetermined reasonable fee.

This way there is no double, triple post's within a forum and can cut down the amount of spam one thread may get.

Would be useful, but actually, if the the thread is a Shop, and is on the 2nd page or further, you can actually post for a legal bump.

But still, this is a very nice idea

Still, sometimes I like seeing my threads at the top rather than halfway down. As people usually skip over these ones. They just skim the last read topics.

You've got a point there, i also want to suggest something that you can pay some LG so you can sticky your SHOP for a limited time.

I'm also a fan of this idea, it would have to be a fair amount though because all we will see is sticky topics. And that would probably defeat the purpose of a sticky. Maybe if it was limited to like 3 person's per day.

Yep there must be also a limit of 3 - 5 stickied threads per day just like what you said, it must also require a decent amount of LG gold to do so.

Just like what the Flyff Forum is doing

The old system was you could bump your thread when it fell off the page. But with this 1 person can keep bumping it for they are always the first one.
The system we have nrks a lot better in my eyes.

Well, the bump system would actually make your post counts 'non spam' because there wouldn't be a bunch of it saying "Bump". The bump button will just bump your thread to the first page, with no new post.

if its viewed in that way, then yes it would be a great idea. the only problem would be putting into place, and worrying about assholes that would do it continually just to get their thread back up to the top.

its a good idea but there are bugs in it that would need to be worked out.

I really like the idea of an LG cash fee. Maybe with however much LG gold is spent in bumps, that amount could be taken and used for a Lucky Dip of LG gold or something. Just trying to make it interesting lol.

Wow, that's a brilliant idea, and i think i have seen this feature used on other forums, but i think it would be a great addition to LG.

The only think I could think of is people can easily bypass the bump system and just say "bump" but I think if the system was implemented we'd have to really crack down on bump posts and/or possible disallowing users from posting more than once. Besides Junkyard of cause.
