CoroCoro should be releasing more news on Pokemon X and Y next month like they always do.
We normally get leaks a few days before it's release though like we did with Ninfia.
That or just wait for the next episode of pokemon smash and hope they announce something more interesting then anime or movie info.

I'm wondering if the 3d is going to be fun or just a gimmick.
I'm not sure if I should buy Pokemon X and Y. I haven't bought Black and White, Red or Leafgreen, Silver or Gold, Red, Black or White 2, or a lot of other games. All I have is Heart Gold, Ruby, Emerald, and blue. I just have this feeling that I should complete all of the older Pokemon games before I go for the newer ones.

Playing through every damn one is time that you're honest better off not wasting. I skipped from silver to pearl to black and white 2 honestly, you're not missing much. You can try another one while waiting for it, but doing it sequentially seems like its more of a chore. The stories arent coherent with each other or anything haha
I am still contemplating if I should spend the money on the DS for these games.

I bought a DSi hoping there would be some cool new Pokemon downloadable game, and because my old original DS broke. Unfortunately, Nintendo completely abandoned the DSi in terms of downloadble content and stuff, but it seems like they're really sticking with the 3DS. I can't currently find my DSi, but I've actually been planning on trading it in for a 3DS. I would love to get the new 3DS Animal Crossing game, and the new Pokemon games look amazing. I would recommend it, haha.

That's a good point, and yeah I knew that about the stories. I was just going to do it as a kind of "Pokemon though-the-times" experience haha. It would be cool to see the graphics improvements and stuff. For now, I think I might jump to X or Y, whenever they come out. Hopefully they won't be solely for 3DS, but if they are I'm really going to need to get my hands on a 3DS! They're so expensive though
