Okay I understand, but you can edit it in.

Editing doesn't tell previous readers that the thread has been updated. It's a sneaky way to bump, but whatever. I used to do it all the time on trade sites, so I won't be a hypocrite. You can't really assume intent of the poster, so whatever.

I don't really care about a bump limit in principle (I see nothing wrong with pushing your thread to the top of the forum). I just think it's necessary to have to prevent spam, because I do see a lot wrong with people spamming some topic with hundreds of posts every second.

So as long as the post is contributory and not spam, I personally give no shits. This is TU's forum though, so it's up to him to decide if he wants to enforce no bumping within 24 hours even with new information [which can just be edited in].

The only administrative concern in this regard is that ing more than once within 24 hours is not allowed as an anti-spam policy.
Anything beyond that, y'all should ask TU.
