Starters Help?

I started playing maplestory yesterday and now im lvl 20 exlorers bowman

what armor weapon skills do i need?

i need some more info im having some issues on some quests

where do i find the black magician deciple? it says i have to slay one

Go low str, don't do a normal build unless you like others making fun of your damage.

some other sites like sleepywood have guides on the quests.

But what armors should i get?

where do i buy pets and the monster that i ride on?

what stat section should i raise and till what point?

You should put more into Dex. I'd say cap str at 40~50.

Just get any bowman armor, preferably around your level range unless youget scrolled items.

pets are via nx and mounts you get from the monster rider quest at lv 70 and 120

How are you supposed to cap strength that low?
For even a funded build, you require a lot of strength for higher level bows.

where are the pet rider quest at?

and anyone know how to get passed the big tower in orbis xD

its a fucking stress climbing up

I noticed nobody told you how to get a monster to ride on called a ''mount'' you can only get them at certain levels

Adventurer lvl 70 you get a mount called a hog

Cygnus Knight lvl 50 you get a mount called a Titiana

Aran lvl 50 you get a mount called the were wolf

Each of these is just the first mount of each class. I am pretty sure every class has three mounts one for each level range. I do know that hog, titiana and the wolf all cost 10'000'000 mesos though you have to get the monster the saddle and then you get a skill called monster rider. all first mounts are standard 140 Speed 120 Jump making it easier for you to explore.

For orbis tower you can simply get up to a certain level and use a nearest town scroll. on floor 7- if you use a return to nearest town scroll it will take you to El Nanth. If you use a return to nearest town scroll on floor 8+ it will take you straight to orbis. hope this saves you some time:p
