need help

dont post any jokes or shit, i need help.

if i wanted to back up an ipod's music, but it was in recovery mode, like say my friend jailbroke his ipod 3g and it got stuck in recovery mode and he was stupid and had no backups, how would i get the music? Can i get the music back?

It should be in his iTunes. When you plug in the iPod to the computer restore it's firmware. Then just sync it again. If that is not the problem then you can us this piece of software.

it says "it is not able to install, it needs to be a valid installer package"

Turn the iPod off

Unplug it

Hold down the home button

Plug it in while holding the button

Then try it.
