I was following it since the day apple registered a new trademark name.
But wasn't released.


So that got me interested.

I don't see it as being the big new thing. If you are going on a business trip you probably want at least a netbook (MacBook), but in your casual life, can you honestly imagine carrying that thing around? I see it as more being a competition for the eBook market, Apple trying to get into the Amazon Kindle's ground. Still, I'm sure there are enough avid Apple fans that the venture will be more than profitable.

Couldn't wait to watch it 1 hour after it was released in film class.
I honestly think it's a pretty good deal but a dud at the same time.
16GB Flash Drive for $499 but it's about $600 for the package of wi-fi and 3g.
So with that deal is it a 1-time deal or do you also have to buy the 1-month contract to get 3g?

You have to pay around 20$ per Month for the 3G. I think I will be going with the refurbished iPod touch.

I think I'm gonna wait it out and see how it goes. Apple is most certainly gonna improve it and release a newer version in a year which will lower the price on this one. It looks great with the web access but I want to see if it'll be capable of playing games on it. WoW in touch screen? o:

This ipad looks alright until i seen how big it is...you gotta press the buttons with your elbows...and if that thing drops once its broke haha...This is one of Apples dumbest inventions to date...Thats what i think until someone buys me one for free

Unless the bottom of it is just like the ipod, and if dropped on the BOTTOM, it just temporarily freezes.

I can't wait for someone to buy one, so I can hit it out of their hands and run like fucking Usain Bolt.
