live chat should be on the forums just saying..
its better than waiting hours or days for a reply.

There is a Skype chat for live discussion.

An issue I see with that though is not everyone uses Skype.

Would be cool if we had an IRC server or mumble or something. Perhaps something integrated within the forum?

Also Skype conversations aren't "live" as in real time. A lot of the time no one is available, etc. Obviously a Skype group has its pros but there are also cons.

i can easily set up irc client on forum and get it hosted.
as for the skype group bleh i hate being on skype due to it being shit on windows at the moment.

The pros outweigh the cons, imo.

A chat room on site wouldn't be any more live. In fact, I imagine much more frequently, nobody would be available/online.

It would be up to Arti to install an IRC server if he wanted to use that.
