I want to be a storm chaser and fine art photographer that shoots weather, landscapes, nature, wildlife, and architecture. I am thinking about getting a degree in atmospheric science.
#3
Cognitive experimental psychology - the science of thought.

Political science but I specialized in international relations and basically have a degree in that too. I also did all the class work for a music major and the groundwork for several other majors. I had a lot of extra credits when I graduated. I'm going back for a masters in international business.

Computer programming. I finish my first year tomorrow but I'm dropping out to change schools.

Majoring Comp Sci, minoring Math. Looking to go into Neurology and Machine Thinking too, but not majoring or minoring in that, that would just be a hobby. Looking to get a Masters in Comp Sci.

I majored in graphic design and publishing with traditional media & photography.
I'm thinking of a masters degree in game design, but I need to go trough uni first, which is pretty pointless for me.
I could study graphic design again but it's the same shit with 1.5 a year apprenticeship... I wish I could just go and study in Canada ;____;

Please do go to a university and get a degree in something that has a wider appeal than Game Design. It's fine if within your major that you specialize and focus on what interests you but I have so many friends that did something like "Game Design" or "Sequential Art" and now have no job and no real hope of getting one. Though they also went to "specialized schools" who's credits wouldn't transfer any where. Both were respected by their fields so it's not like the school is a complete scam but it has ultimately hindered them.
Admittedly I don't have any idea what your plans are but I just wanted to warn you.

I'm doomed already, the market for new graphic designers is really narrow here.
It's something I'm interested in, but my job is holding me back, I get paid way better than any graphic design/game job.
One of my dreams is to study polymer science but it's not something I'd want to do now, knowing the poor education system here...
But that's the same, I'd have to study various branches of science in Uni, which is comparable with 9th grade chemistry...
At the same time, I have an amazing job in one of the most respected companies in Finland, I'll probably never be paid this well in any other job(unless I'm a politician lol).
It's a choice between studying for the rest of my life or living a comfortable life here, have everything I need and maybe even start a family.

Dem choicesssssss

I probably plan on not going to college, I don't know yet.
