Do you mean acid specifically, or just hallucinogens in general?

Nah, like 5 minutes on average. My longest was 30 minutes though of full hallucination. Good memories. And some scary, but I'm glad I have them. Wonderful drug. Shame it's illegal now, at least in most places. I was lucky enough to have tried it while legal.
Acid makes everything 100 times more colorful and things tend to move that don't usually move.
Like my friend said he saw the ceiling breathing.

This is very true. My hallucination last between 10-15 minutes, sometimes feels like more. I totally though it was illegal. Every smoke shop I went to told it it was. Just about 2-3 weeks ago I went to one that my cousin works at to get some E-cigs and I notice they had some. They have it in 10x 50x and 100x
I've never tried Salvia, but I hear from everyone who has that it's a total Nightmare of an experience, most of the time.
I have tried acid though, and it really depends on the kind you take.
It feels fine.
You won't get hungry, drinking stuff will feel super weird (like you're drinking desert sand) and you'll just want to chill and relax and stare at the shapes on the ceiling, the carpet, wires, etc.
At least when I did it, that's how it was for me.
The biggest mistake people make is losing themselves in their trip.

The craziest experience I ever got was laying on the couch watching TVLand and "Leave it to Beaver" was on.
I couldn't stay focused on it, and their faces kept Moving, and they were outlined in thick red/blue lines (even though it was in black and white).
Then I look over at my friend Nick and his face is moving like crazy. Like invisible people were rubbing his cheeks, forehead, etc.
And his hair kept curling up and drying out, then growing out bigg again (he has an afro)
Then I'd look at my hand and notice how amazing my fingers were, but when I moved them, they left Tracers. (Basically a trail) and in my own reflection I looked like a Lion. Because my pupils were MASSIVE and I had long hair and a grown out beard, with a baby face.
It was great.

To keep myself entertained I put on movies like The Wall or Led Zeppelin: The Movie or Yellow Submarine, not because I like those movies but because it freaks out and entertains high kids and that is hilarious.

The kind you find it headshops is unstandardized. The numbers are meaningless. 10x standardized is about the quality of 100x in a headshop. Mine was shipped here from Europe. Surprisingly cheap but damn high quality. I feel bad for people who use the stuff in headshops. The markup is absurd, and you never know what you're getting since they just make the potency up.
