Why is the left for dead series superior to most others?
Way more enjoyable than call of duty and halo for me. Especially l4d1. Beat a team 3600 to about 300 not that long ago, lol.

Because Gabe Newell is a fucking genius.
He uses psychological jedi mind tricks in his games. Interesting shit. I can't imagine how much this man knows.
For example, he uses subtle lighting patterns to make you associate certain cues and colors with safety or danger, and after spending the game (or a long period of time) subconsciously noticing that some color or pattern leads to safety, he will use it right before something scary happens to make the situation actually scary for you, since you won't see it coming.

I can't see how L4D1 is better than 2. Anywho, favourite game by far. Play it too much, I've logged like 1300 hours. If you're really that good, you should start playing competitive games. Look up confogl.

To be honest the people we are getting matched with are probably not considered "good". I would say im average at the game, able to do good if my team is ok.
