Is it possible to change my gamertag again without paying? Or can I just switch my linked account to another one without losing my achievements?

Nope, think you get 1 free name change but thats when you first join.

I think if enough people report your gamertag you get a free change.

MS picked up on this one awhile ago, if you do this and succeed they're going to choose one for you. Hope you like being UnwaffledManatee or whatever.
