The less than happy to hear facts of life. AKA Reality

1. The money you work so hard to earn is worthless

2. The girl / guy you like will most likely never like you back

3. Your family / friends will die, Probablly painfully, and you may even have to watch

4. Despite how friendly someone is to you, Everyone is friends with someone for a reason. This can even be reflected in yourself in the form of "Hm, My friend has a car and I can get him to drive me places!" or "Hm, He has a 360! Lets goto his place!"

5. Your pets dont know who you are and only look at you as a source for food, As soon as you stop feeding them, They will either look for food within the house themselves, or leave. and when you die, They will eat you.

6. You will get a job, And be a tool, And probably not accomplish anything significant in your entire life.

7. You see this monitor you are looking at? This is not reality, Reality and realistic ownership can only be found in guns, food, and tools. Some day there might not be the internet, or electricity, And you will be fucked.

8. At any point in time, Anyone in the world who wants to and has a gun, Can go to your front door, Kick it in, Walk up to you, And kill you and all of your family and animals. And the cops wont show up until probably 10-15 minutes later (if) Someone calls them.

9. You will die. Probably painfully, there will be no afterlife, No amazing awakening in heaven or any bullshit like that. It will be like when you go to sleep. But with no dreaming, Forever. You wont even know you exist or have any train of thought or knowledge.

Anyone else want to contribute? I want to see some LGer`s get a decent dose of reality.

Counter-point:
1. Money is worth whatever society decide its worth. Plus I place more value in life, I don't even have a job
2. No they won't but that doesn't stop you from sexing them
3.Everything dies, who cares
4.Almost no relationship is one sided so I'm getting something from them too
5.Depends on the pet, but animals are just animals so again who cares, they're like having the tv on when you're alone
6.So what, its all about the ride. Each life is an experiment either: a. I'll provide a great model or b. provide a "do not do the following"
7.The things you've listed as real, aren't any realer than the internet or the economy. Even something like the color blue isn't real. Everything you see, hear, taste, smell, feel, ect is all poorly received data by heavily flawed senses that your mind puts together into a picture that you just assume is real. The only thing that is real ior certain is you(or me as you could just be something I've imagined[I think therefore I am).
8.They can but they can't, the social contract is breed into most of humanity at this point. 98% of people wouldn't be able to do it. Of the remaining 2%only about half are cold blood enough to do it right and the other half has a good chance to fail. Both are likely to fail in my personal case because the two armed males inside the house were trained in shooting by an Olympic shooter and one has military combat training and there are more guns at the ready that is sane.
9. Its not that likely you'll die painfully and you have no proof or knowledge of death. If any the misfiring electrical signals you experiance at death will be far more like a dream than just falling asleep unless you get decapitated or some sort of instant kill kind of thing. Aside from that I'm a duelist so I'm confident in an afterlife, its not nessicarily all sunshine and rainbows and I couldn't tell you that there is some moral ruling to get there but I'm pretty sure whatever makes you, you gets to go on in some way. I don't know that you get to be you or that you will be conscious or any thing ever again bt yeah.

Coffin, The point of this thread isnt to have a counterpoint posted, It is for making the "lala im so happy" members of LG become "wah im sad"

You will find out that no matter how hard in life you try you are stuck in the same place. A Shithole.

Opinion . I don't agree with that at all.
Everything is relative. Why try to upset people? The world is miserable for you, why does that mean it should be miserable for everyone? If others can live in ignorance, let them.
