Any xbox headset can be converted into a pc one. I lost my original 2.5mm jack so I use a converter in my controller and headset and use a 3.5mm jack cable.

Which model do you have? I got the CX-500 and there is absolutely no definition to the mids. Still better than my other option, Apple headphones.
