No, but, I'm in need of a job also.

I have to ask. Why would you ever need 16 GBs of RAM?

I do a lot of programming, development, 3d, and Photoshop stuff. It eats up ram like you wouldn't believe.
#7
Yeah, I see where you're coming from.
But I personally think 6-9 GBs of RAM suffices.

Enough to actually need more than 6.5 GBs? I find that shocking at best.

Rendering out 1080p animations, running virtual machines, and then sandboxed apps eat up my resources. I'm the exception though, I abuse my computer's resources XD.

I would have 8gb but two sticks are broken or there's something wrong with my motherboard.

There's also the possibility that Mr.Thomas here wants to host some servers on his PC.
I wouldn't necessarily mind having 16 GBs of RAM at my disposal either.

@Stapled, looks cool. I like it.

I already have a server for that lol. I just need to thread Ethernet through my house. Wireless had horrible lag.

Oh, I can see your RAM usage getting higher with VMs. I don't know anything about video, though. I've never needed (or been able to afford) more than 4 GBs.

@Unintelligible, then he probably would've said so.

Um, he just added that he's hosting a server on his PC right now. That could be something he just forgot to add because he's more of a graphics/programming person than an administrative one (evidently). I also threw in the keyword of "possibility".

What you meant was that running servers would also eat RAM right? If so, you said it wrong. If not, no idea why you said anything at all.

Also, still doubtful that it's a necessity to have 16 GBs. Could just manage your memory and save a $100

I felt it was implied.

It doesn't have to be a necessity to have 16 GBs to have 16 GBs. His objective isn't to host servers and servers alone. He has other things that he manages. Please don't start this. It's more than tiresome explaining to you why you're wrong all the time. In fact, if you keep pushing it.. I may have to do something that you and I will both regret.

You're making yourself seem like an average run off the mill moron to the people that can actually see through your shenanigans. Which is a handful of people at this point, might I add.

How do you guys get your camera to take such clear pictures? :/

@ necessity, yes, I realize. I'd just rather have the money. I'm not wrong, and neither is he. You're just annoyed that I pointed out you doing that thing you always do where you think people know what you mean and they have no idea. I do that a lot, so I get it. I really do, but I've gotten pretty decent at avoiding that issue on forums and on my blog. The secret? Read your post a few times and see if it makes sense. I didn't read my last post beforehand so it didn't occur to me that I had done the same thing. I had. I'm also not reading this post over because I'm about to watch Torchwood. But I will remind you that it's not in your best interest to start this shit again. Threats will get you no where. Action... I'm not even going to bother saying it. Just shut the fuck up.
