The hell...USB is rusted with green goo o.0
Noticed some green icky residue on the mouth of the usb. pulled off its shock protector and looked and it was coating the connector closest to the hard plastic protector within the shock protector.

After I cleaned up the gunk, I noticed it was corrosive, and eating through the metal either causing it to rust, or changing its color to a bronze color.

As you can see...quite strange.

Anyone else experienced this green goo delima?...

The green stuff I have cleaned off. But look closely.

Its like the metal surface under it was being eaten through.

I see this in batteries often, might be something similar.

So you think its some type of electrical dischage being given off through it when pluggd in?

Well, USB Drives don't go in your asshole, the go in computers.

Naw just playin.'

I'd say put a case around it (If there isn't one)
Or clean the case out (if it has one)
