My internet is always running like crap. If one person in the house is downloading it becomes almost unusable. Also when I get speed test to load my results are always similar to this:

So is there a reason my internet always runs like crap? I mean my internet speed isn't bad or anything.

Call the company and complain. I remember when i used to get bad connection i called my company and they gave me a new router and now i get the required speed.

My parents gave up on calling them. They replaced the router over 5 times and shit still sucks.

I don't really want to. I currently have unlimited download. All the plans they offer now have a cap around 50gb.

Ok keep the shitty internet lol. Or just say you are gonna change companies if they dont fix your internet. They get scared.

Actually your internet speed is pretty bad. Look at your grade it's a D+.
You have almost no upload speed.
That's probably your problem.

I dont know clover.
My upload isnt any better and i download at around 1 MB / sec on wireless.



@Stapled, seriously, Call and threaten to change internet providers. My brother did that and they boosted our download by 2 MB's

go on your router, check to make sure that you don't have any unwanted friends using your connection. And, if you have like 5 or 6 things on a router and it's not a nice $80+ one than it'll run slower, add a wep 64 bit encryption to it. see if theirs any firmware updates available for the router. If shit still sucks, plug your computer into ethernet(wired) and disable the wifi. Check you dl/ul speed and if it sucks then start bitching out your isp.

@Omlett: Your upload speed does have to do with whether or not your internet connection is decent.
Since you need to upload data to interact with the internet.
I can have 20mb DL but if my upload is .5 my internet runs like dial up.
