Sorry I've been gone. I came back here just now (that I got a laptop) and when did we get a home screen? Who's Scarecrow?! Anyway, as to my adventure to California.
Living in Maine (right now).
Had no internet (couldn't get on).
Was working 2 jobs (Couldn't keep up with rent)
Living in a Tent behind a TJ maxx. I have a weeks worth of food, a laptop, an ipod touch, wireless internet, a couch, a tv, and it's 110% weatherproof.
So my life starts now. It's me, my friend tyler, and my friend Amanda. We have nowhere to go. It sucks, but you make the most with what you've got. So here's our plan.
We're pushing, not gonna lie. (Selling) We're averaging an O. we've already sold 3 and have 1400$ profit.
We're getting a plane ticket each. 250 for a layover flight.
We're moving to california and staying with Tylers aunt for a month tops.
We'll have enough saved up to get an apartment, and in that month we can get jobs.
So I'll be living in California anywhere between 2 weeks to 3 months max.
When we get there we're buying an RV. At the rate we're going we'll have around 8,000$ before we even leave Maine.
It's a shitty trip, a shitty situation, but it's honestly the only choice I have right now. Neither of us have nowhere else to go and nothing else to do.
When life puts you down, look up.
stay gold. Missed you all. I'll have internet now that I have a laptop, so I'll be more active than I used to be.
thanks man. surprisingly I'm more stable in this 14 person tent than I was in the apartment. If any LGers live in Cali i'd love to visit them.
How've you been?

Been nice i was inactive for a bit due to computer fries and such.
Hey man Nice to have you back. So what do you mean by pushing? And also, if you get to california try getting some computer gigs. When I was 14 I was getting paid 800 bucks a week during the summer for professional websites Maybe you could try that?
Good luck with your situation though Hope things work out!
Also: I didn't get the backstory though... so what happened?
I'm in a similar situation since we got evicted and am forced to float around to friend houses when not working. Like you said, xit sucksbut gotta make the most of what we do have. Kudos for staying strong and not giving in. I wish you all. The best of luck.

since my new shitty dell inspiron 10'' notebook has the common sense god gave a pubic hair, i can't qoute all of you. but I'll answer queestions. and I need questions answered.
I'm going to be living east of san diego.
Pushing, i'm not sure if I can explain through here. I'll PM you about it.
Stormie, we'll be taking an RV most likely. Honestly, we can pick you up if you want. Legit. Just be willing to contribute to getting a job when we get to Cali. since you're in the same boat I am, I have no problem at all picking up another drifter.}
Soul, I missed the living fuck out of you.
Google and everyone, thanks a million for the support it means a lot.
OH!!! SURGERY UPDATE!!
I got Surgery a couple weeks ago. (Pardon my fake english, I've gone through a bottle of chocolate raspberry wine tonight)
I got a spider bite on my stomache from a Brown Recluse, which is the most poisonous spider in Maine.
I go get it checked out by my Dr, Dr Reinke. he's been my family doctor since I was 2.
He cut out a Golf Ball sized cyst with spider eggs attached to it.
I watched it happen, it didn't hurt, it didn't bother me, and he won't let me keep it in a Jar which upsets me.
no, it's absolutely filthy.
And thanks to it I can't swim for another 3 months or I'll get rashes and it'll split open and shit.
Glad I can enjoy my summer
.-.That's literally the creepiest thing I have heard, since I have a huge fear of parasites and that's closely relative. Glad you're doing alright now though. As for me joining the travelling band, I'm holding down two jobs now and as much as I crave leaving, I don't think I should be going anywhere until I've gotten a nice little nest egg under me. I do appreciate the offer though, and I know you guys can do it.

One time I woke up and had spider bites all across my upper body. I was freaked the hell out because it looked really bad. I hope they weren't poisonous though. Then again, it was like 3 months ago so if they were I'd probably be dead o.o I live in Michigan, I doubt there are that many poisonous spiders there
Rai, as soon as I have an apartment again you're welcome there.
I pray things go well for you in the future and you find yourself a place. Slash and Axel used to live in a storage unit before GNR took off so you could try one of those if you tire of your tent.
thanks buddy. I'm kinda digging living my summer in a tent with just my guitar to occupy my time. Where about is possible apartment you speak of?
Yeah, I know what you mean. Band and I took a tent out to nowhere for Spring break with our acoustics and it was awesome. We hooked up with these hippies and did a street show. It was really cool, minus them trying to steal our wallets.
uh, Florida which really can't be much hotter than Cali. Still weed isn't legal here, nor is gay marriage but we still surf and there are some good music scenes. If you hit in a small town the cost of living is low. If you hit one of the college or touristy coast town they tend to have good places to shack up, plus lots of state parks.
