Extremely raged right now.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

I am 18. My friend is 15 and his cousin is 18.
We had to display our IDs. Me and my friend's cousin would have been allowed in, however we are not able to buy my friend a ticket. Someone over 21 would have to buy the ticket.
We were going to have my mother come up and get us in, however if she would have to pay for her own ticket to get in and then stay at the movie.

Oh, and there was a young couple with a newborn child in one of those carrying baskets, they were not allowed into the movie either due to the child being under the age of 6.

Marcus Theatres Policy.
R: Restricted - Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian
An R-rated motion picture, in the view of the Rating Board, contains some adult material. An R-rated motion picture may include adult themes, adult activity, hard language, intense or persistent violence, sexually-oriented nudity, drug abuse or other elements, so that parents are counseled to take this rating very seriously. Children under 17 are not allowed to attend R-rated motion pictures unaccompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Parents are strongly urged to find out more about R-rated motion pictures in determining their suitability for their children. Generally, it is not appropriate for parents to bring their young children with them to R-rated motion pictures.

I watched Righteous Kill with a screaming baby in the row across from me. In case you didn't see it, they used sex scenes as scene transitions.

Um since when do you have to be 21 to drink movies....? Is 21 even a requirement for anything but drinking?
