Gonna start being paid for my music.

A start-up company has contacted me about licensing a few songs out to them. I start out getting 45 dollars, and then a portion of whatever subscription fees they get based on how popular my songs get.


Even if the company tanks, I get 45 dollars.

You're right.
I shouldn't take it, because getting a chance at some mild publicity and a definite amount of money when i have no source of income would be stupid.
