What movie am I thinking of?
All I can remember is this lady invited a pregnant lady into her home.
The lady who owned the home couldn't have a kid, and was trying to take hers,
blah blah, something about cannibalism, etc.

You guys are hilarious, but completely unhelpful.

I'm thinking Kathy Bates was in it, but maybe not. At one point the girl escaoes into the snow and makes it to a phone booth and a chase scene ensues.

Correct answer gets my approval and my lg, which is next to nothing, but this is really bugging me. I'm thinking it came out in early 90s.

Kidnapping+Kathy Bates+90's movie also makes me think of Misery, but pregnant woman=/=novelist...
I went through IMDB 1990-1995, and none of her movies are cannibal related...

The first thing I thought of was this because of the boiling on the stove thing.
However in this movie it was the pet rabbit. Lol
