Today I asked my mom. To find something that could represent our family. She said this:

Your dads side is a puzzle with a piece missing, I'm that piece who found a better puzzle to be in, and with enough minor changes, I fit perfectly.

I asked her how she felt about leaving us, she said:

I knew what I was doing while it was happening, I saw opportunity for a better life for myself, and look at me now.

I asked her what that meant, she said:

I have a beautiful brilliant daughter with my new husband, we have a house, and two cats. I love my life, and wouldn't change a thing. I have the perfect child, with the perfect husband, what more could I have wanted in my life?

I responded:
Us.

She sat in silence for a whole three minutes, I was furious and hung up. Wow.... ugh, I hate that woman.
