Why is it that they only spam the weighted discussion? Maybe you should make it like a 5 post minimum before you can post in there? Or do that with every forum besides jy. That could cut down on this russian and jibberish bullshit.

Because the absolute last thing I would do is hinder the user's experience just to stop a few spam threads. We have mods for a reason.

Yes, email activation and captcha is needed to register.

It's not like the forums are constantly flooded with said content.
