Well my mom's computer having this issue is going to end up being blame on me. Watch.
She was like, holding the button to restart it and crap, cause her internet wasn't working. I was like thats gonna ruin your computer. And she kept doing it.
Then it started making a really weird noise. like eeerrrrrrr- ee ee - eerrrrrrrr - ee -ee. lol.
Then power went out. Then I turned it on, and it wouldn't load correctly. Now she's gonna reinstall vista or w/e she wants on it. Sucks for her man.

Not to mention I told her several times, that holding the power button over and over to shut off/turn on computer will fuck it up eventually.
