I'm learning how to draw anime characters so I'll be gone most of the day.

Remember one major tip.
Learn realistic anatomy first, use real references of real people.
Then progress into anime style.

I learned how to draw Heads, I just suck at the lower half.

Choose the speed (I normally do 45 secs) and draw the figure as fast as you can.
Do it over and over, it'll help you get better at anatomy.

I also recommend downloading andrew loomis's figure drawing for all it's worth.
