[Idea] New Staff Group: The name...
The Stream Team. *dramatic pose* But nah, srsly. This group would be capable of streaming for the entertainment of LG, like I have been doing. I mean, I have a lot of movies to watch and I have means of Streaming...I can just transfer it to you guys free of charge. Haha. What do ya say?

I have a feeling it's against NetFlix TOS.

Hmmm, I dunno. Not breaking any real rules by it. It's my Netflix, I'm still watching it...It's just like screensharing.

Just make sure, it could make LG look bad.

If it is okay with Netflix, then bring it up to a smod or Clover, Jenny, C0ffin and we will bring it up to the admins.
#11
Yeah, I can't find anything in Netflix Terms of Use against it...Sooo, chyeah.

How come i can't see "Live" in any of my lg tabs any more D:

Honestly, I dislike the idea. There is no need for it. Even if we did have a streaming team they would only stream them selves playing games and that's about it. Movies I can understand. Other then that, no.

Well, I was more focused on the movies aspect of it.

If we can set up a schedule for Movies and for Tutorials and such. I think we can do it, other then that, it's quite pointless.

Well, we do have an unofficial streaming team, since everyone who wants to stream something needs to be given permission first.

A streaming team would be unnecessary (Unless of course you're talking about a staff of people who manage the stream.)

Other than that, Streaming should be an open source or application for anyone with the right privileges (Say, You need "This and that" to access/host a streaming.) This way, Anyone can have the ability to do so without being hassled onto applying for another team.

That was for the user part, If you're specifically talking about a "Streaming Staff" (Those who moderate and approve streams/users who stream.) Then it could work with the given above.

The whole streaming idea is brilliant, We can use this feature somewhere in the near future.

I think the point is to have some sort of "programming" in addition to user streaming. Also a moderation team for the chats and the video content could/would prove useful.

Explain please?

Well in the sense certain movies would be shown at certain times and those would be posted. "How to's" would be produced and made based on usefulness and requests. At least thats how it'd work in my mind.
The moderation of the live streams is important because we don't want the chat to be used inappropriately nor do we want video content that is offensive or obscene.

We need Torian online. D<

Ah yes. But those can be user-base produced as well. (Under the watchful eyes of the stream moderators of course)

Other than moderation, There is really no point for a Stream Team, But a Streaming Moderation Staff.

EDIT: Might aswell call it a Stream Team then. xD

Except we can't give a user a deadline or tell them what they have to produce. We can tell staff member those things. Also dedicated stream at certain times by someone that is obligated to do so is useful.
Users would not be excluded from streaming you'd just have some structure there in by a set staff.

There's a rather easier solution to this.

There could be a streaming sub-forum, In which where people can make requests for anything (How to do this and that.), That anyone can volunteer to do.

But how are we going to stream it? The person who volunteered must be required to submit a record of him doing the said task. The staff will inspect it, Give it a time and date where the volunteer is available (For troubleshooting, problems, and questions) and give it a spin.

This is a very flexible method, Since you're distributing the burden of the task to a more wider audience compared to a closed team.
