So i got a wierd virus.
yeah i logged on and everytime i tried to open google chrome or any other program for the matter,it said "-----.exe" has a virus and is non executable.
then it told me to upgrade my virus protection "i had avg."
so i said yes hoping that it would load a page from the internet.
guess what.
it loaded a page for virus protection i had no recollection of and asked me to buy it.
that was also the only page that would load.
so after half an hour of being frustrated and trying to do unorthodox things.
i simply made a new account and deleted the old one and here i am :]
so i guess that anti virus wanted me to buy it so much it gave me a virus.
or something like that.
anyone every encounter the same problem.
oh yeah
i want better virus protection.

I don't think making a new account will help.
Fully restart your computer.

Couldve just used SmithFraudFix or ComboFix to get rid of it.

i tried that 3 times >.<
i only assume it worked because now i can use the internet.
and there is no trace of the program.
i think it was called "antivir antivirus" or something close to that

That's called malware.
Download and run rkill.exe
Run Malware Bytes
Change proxy settings on all browsers back to default (it's the reason nothing else would load)
