I have feelings, not sexual feelings, but, like a bond.

My mom just started dating this guy named barry, and, hes really nice to her, hes awesome to us... Took us swimming, out for supper, playing football, and just makes my life alot more fun.

Hes a recovering drug addict, 3 years sober now.

He makes me feel loved, and my mom too, same with my little brother.

I dont know if I should grow close or not. Like, I want to; REALLY BAD. I feel like everything is perfect when hes around, I have nrries of my mom being hurt,or me being sad, down, hurt, or in danger anymore.

Should I give this guy a chance?

Serious guys, this choice I need help with. It could change my life in a good way

I personally think that you should give "Barry" a chance.

Barry = Drug Addict
Kenny = Asshole
Stephanie = Bitch
Jay = Homosexual (most of the time)

Barry is someone I'd trust. Not because his name is the only one that doesnt mean he's a douche, but because it seems like he's actually trying and wants to have fun.

Everyone deserves a chance, everyone gives people chances, only question is when to give people second, third, fourth,... chances. Give him a shot, I mean hell, he's proven himself so far, might as well go along with it.

I am really glad to hear that things are going great! Go ahead and bond with Barry. Even if for some crazy insane reason it doesn't work out between he and your mom that doesn't mean that you can't hang out with him anymore. Every guy needs a role model.
