Thieves of Ostia

In the Begiiing it sucks Bad But at the end of the book its really good well to me its good xD its a little gory not alot of gore but Dogs Heads Get Cut Off then the guy takes there head i dont get that part its sort of wierd to me why would any one take a head of a dog
