Build your own. You could get 16GB (possibly 32) ram, and a 4Gb GDDR5 ATI card for about the same price.

What are you doing that causes it to go up so high? Sounds like horrible program optimization. On a 4 gig ram you can run three instances of crysis without a hitch.
Its funny how Torian compares everything to Crysis.

10 virtual machines, 2 remote desktop connections to my servers, Photoshop, AfterFx, Filezilla, Dreamweaver, Visual studio, uTorrent, Pidgin, Outlook express, word, Chrome, And firefox.

10 virtual machines because I am testing new versions of Linux distros for a website I am about to roll out. 2 remote desktop connections to my servers so that I can prepare for the website's launch. Photoshop because I'm a graphic designer. AfterFx because I like to do motion graphics. Filezillla to upload files to my servers. uTorrent to download Linux distros. Dreamweaver to code the new website. Visual studio because I am building up my programming portfolio (you will see that in a few days). Pidgin to talk to people. Outlook to fetch my E-mails. Word to type up documents. Chrome and Firefox to browse the internet.
