theres not really any mods right now, and when they get chosen, they will handle it....or they will suck ass and get replaced, thats just the way that goes.
and yes i have seen what it has become. its disgusting. ask any oldy what i would have done to it by now. they know.

Ive had a few DIs inspect me when I went to comp, man they yell at you when your yelling your loudest to yell more.
I tend to avoid that cesspool of cancer.

most of the old members have come back, and once the rules get implemented, along with mods, then we'll see a cleaner Gaia section. We just started at any rate from scratch. :/

you dont know what your loudest is. you wont until about week 7 or 8 of boot. trust me.
and the Reaper isnt a damn thing, its just a hill w/ a 12 mile hump. thats nothing.
at MCT our last hump was 15 miles fully loaded with a rifle, and an IED simulation.
you learn how loud you can be when you have to scream over a simulated IED and the reactions.
And competitions are more relaxed. wait till you experience the quarterdeck or the sand pit.

The first time I got inspected by a DI I almost shit my pants. You'll always be your loudest your first time around. I can get pretty damn loud now, and thats without a DI in front of me. But your first time around your nervous, and you tend to get loud hoping he wont rip you a new one.

yea, for the first 3 days of boot, and then by the time you meet your DI, you're throat is shot and you've lost your voice. my throat and voice is shot and deep as fuck because of the DIs. its loud too, but you dont get your man voice until you've lost your voice 7-8 times and coughed up some blood.
then you're at your loudest...which still isnt loud enough.

Actually you can be loud enough, just scream until you cough up blood when a DI is yelling at you, he will leave you alone for like 3 weeks of training. worked for me. XD
And trust me, if you want it, you'll get yours.

Well, it'll be much easier on me, then it was on you. Seeing how I've had structure from Marines already. And sadly, all the uniforms I have, have the ega on them. (Camys,Charlies,Blues)
Although I don't deserve them for the time being.

all that stuff is gonna have to either go into storage or on display, because the real thing is so much better. and trust me, you will earn them in boot. i did, and so will you. and any structure you hvae now, means nothing. had people in boot that were MCROTC and they weren't ready. start researching, thats all i can really say.

Researching wont do all that much.
Doing it in person is much different then seeing it. Plus Ive read about it and seen plenty of videos.

well start getting ready now. because if you cant run 3 miles in under 28 minutes, bang out 20 pullups and slam out 100 crunches, you wont make it very far. just a heads up. so start working on it now.
