Loaded introduction
Hello all,

Recently discovered this forum when I was searching for a bot for Recolor.me
I've been a long time Gaia User (multiple accounts since 2008 ) and decided to migrate to a new forum based avatar community. I've accumulated a moderate wealth on Gaia and due to my lack of activity on the site I have intentions of selling my items/gold from the site possibly my account as a whole.

I recently started college, earning a Computer Science/ Engineering dual major and I'm currently learning the basics for coding in different languages.

Not really sure what else to say, mainly because I haven't quite explored the site and haven't queue up many questions about it.

A few questions I've come up with that may be found on the site but I haven't quite found them. link for the information would be exceptionally helpful.

1) My gaia account worth based off the inventory on the site is roughly 25 trillion gold. and I currently have 200b pure gold and 5500 gaia cash. Where do I find the average price conversions to USD for each?
2) I read that there are multiple fishing bots that are on the site, and I'm curious to use them since fishing was my favorite part of the game, but they were advised to use proxies to create mules in order to run these bots to avoid banns, what are preferred proxys?
3) what are good ways to earn rep? I plan on starting out with smaller sales to ensure my legitmacy and build up rep to be a more truste seller.

Hello!

1) At the moment I think it' $25 per trill but it's subject to change a lot
2) I don't know
3) Be nice, helpful and trustworthy when it comes to trading c: you're best off starting with a very experienced buyer/seller, with a use of a middleman (optional!) and report any wrongdoings c:

Hello and welcome, I'd be interested in buying your golds if you're selling in the future. C:

Awesome thank you very much for the information!

Now I just would have to work towards selling my items on my account. to accumulate some gold itself! Probably going to be the most difficult part since I have over 2k items lmao.

I'll definite look towards more experienced users for my trade to begin with, aren't the usually fees for middlemen?

I will definitely like that! I'm just going to have to start selling off items in order to get a reasonable stockpile of gold before I try to make sales with it. having what I assume is roughly 2 dollars worth of pure on my account isn't much to be selling, haha.

Well if you ever want to purchase some at all, hit me up :)

With the loss of tektek its hard for me to determine what high value items I own are. I've accumulated a wide variety of the user SDPlus dolls and some more costly MCs. But my recent inactivity on the site left me out of the loop on popular items.

:) I would consider it if I was more active on the site, but there no point in me trying to buy gold when I won't ever use it. :-<

guides and development are easy rep

i can give you some projects if you know python.

a vpn would be my biggest recommendation, just pay for one if your serious.

otherwise tor/i2p come with their disadvantages

What exactly are the guides for exactly? I don't have access to the forum to skim through it. I'm actually very limited on the site as of right now as to where I can post/view.

I've contemplated using tor since I'm on a college student budget.

And I'd be happy to try and take on a task though my python is really amateur at the moment, with only knowing basic functions. I can't promise anything being exceptionally compact, but who can say no to a challenge?

you'll get more access when you hit 25 posts.

to get an idea of the code it's written with python2 and uses mechanize -> mechanize

sadly mechanize isn't python3 and has been abandoned but its worked on gaia for years now

I'll definitely look into it. I've done my projects on python3 but there isn't that much of a difference between the two. I'll play around with it for a bit.

Yeah, I just couldn't find any other active threads that I have permissions to post into to reply to. So I needed to get the last 2 post requirements.:-<
